Twitter search is the next best search engine after Google and if you are not utilizing it, you are missing out on something very important.

Though you’ll find a Twitter search box on the homepage of Twitter, I would not recommend using that. You could rather visit the dedicated search page for Twitter at http://search.twitter.com.

The search engine at Twitter is similar to that of Google except that the search results will be from tweets at Twitter. So your intention of search will also be to find something specific that somebody had tweeted about the object in question.

Gone are the days when people asked, “Are you on Facebook”?

The question now is, “Are on on Twitter”?

It was in the middle of March 2009, that I realized what was happening and jumped into the bandwagon. I regret that I was late into it. Nevertheless, I am still satisfied at the fact that I was not left out.

Twitter and twittering is never too late. Even if you are the latest to join the phenomenon, you will still gain from it, such is the power of Twitter. All that you need to do is the right things. Do not waste unnecessary energy and time at Twitter. Rather, follow a proven and established method and you will see the results.

Having said that in one of my posts earlier, I had professed that the time that you spend decides the profitability of your online business and that you should minimize the time that you spend on Twitter. So how will I balance the time that I spend on twitter? I am sure this is the question that you too have.

I was busy building my followers until a few months back. But eventually I found that my followers were dropping of my following list. I kept wondering why until I stumbled upon an eBook on twitter. It was then that I realized that only building your follower count is not enough. You need to give them valuable content as well.

If you have noticed, I have been running the Thesis theme for Wordpress since the past 7-8 months. The current appearance of my blog will not give you a first hand account that it is thesis but, it actually is thesis 1.6.

I had very strictly maintained that I would not write about anything that is not relevant to the topic of my blog, but I couldn’t stop myself from writing about thesis. Yes, I am an affiliate of thesis and since I have been using it, I can proudly say that this is the best thing to have if you are running your blog on Wordpress.
